Northern Film & Media Event: Film4ward – Film Business and Finance Panel

Northern Film & Media hosted it’s Film4ward – Film Business and Finance Panel event in Toffee Factory’s Event Space on Thursday 21 June.
As part of Film4ward – an initiative delivered in association with Film4 – Northern Film & Media presents a guide to film business and finance, with a panel of leading producers, sales agents and distributors.
The Film Business and Finance Panel is aimed at emerging producers who want to learn more about the role of sales companies and distributors as well as develop their strategies for raising finance and building industry networks. The session is also open to writers and directors who want to broaden their knowledge of film finance, sales and distribution.
Chaired by independent film producer Ivana MacKinnon (Slumdog Millionaire, Centurion), speakers at this event will be:
- Carey Fitzgerald, Managing Director, High Point Media Group
- Rebecca Hawkes, Managing Director at Schedule 2
- Sarah Scougal, Head of Development, Vertigo
Following case studies and a panel discussion producers will be offered one-to-ones with the speakers to discuss their individual projects (spaces are limited – please indicate your intertest when registering).
