Toffee Factory is for growing businesses working in the creative and digital sectors. It provides contemporary office spaces from 25sqm to 175sqm in the refurbished Victorian Maynards Toffee Factory located at the mouth of the Ouseburn Valley. Toffee Factory has 23 fully serviced offices, shared office space and virtual office services. It builds upon the Ouseburn Valley's existing ecology of creative businesses.
Offices
Offices at Toffee Factory are extremely varied, some with very high ceilings (over 4.5 metres high) and others with views over the Ouseburn Valley. All of them include the cost of heating and electricity and have raised floors with internet, telephone and power points located in floor boxes.
The offices are fully finished with white painted walls (some have exposed brickwork) and neutral carpet tiles to provide a plug and play environment.
The building is highly sustainable, firstly by re-using an existing Victorian factory but also through an exemplary refurbishment project which includes a highly efficient biomass boiler that burns wood pellets, passive ventilation via opening windows and a green roof.
We provide an annual, short-term lease which allows for two months notice at any point, providing a highly flexible working environment.
Toffee Factory is open 24/7 every day of the year so clients have complete freedom to access their office at any time. The building is also fully accessible and complies with all legislation relating to employers’ obligations and responsibilities.
Toffee Factory has CCTV, a state of the art access control system, British Standard key locks and alarms in each office connected to our main alarm panel.
