Danced the night away!

Toffee Factory joined forces with their Ouseburn neighbours, The Cumberland Arms for this year’s Late Shows and were delighted to welcome over 1100 of you!
With twenty venues across Ouseburn open for the event, the Valley was brimming with people exploring and enjoying this special part of town.
The Cumberland didn’t disappoint with their programme which brought the many charms and traditions associated with this Ouseburn gem down to Toffee for the evening.
With a ceilidh in full swing and clogs and rapper dancers to entertain, the lively crowds didn’t hesitate to get involved. Chalk Newcastle were also on hand with their playful protest and much fun was had.
Mark Gibbs, Westermo (Toffee based business) said,
“There are many benefits of being located here at Toffee Factory, however the events hosted throughout the year are a real attraction for us in bringing the toffee community together. We really enjoyed the recent Late Shows event, this was a great opportunity for the family to get involved and to open the building to the wider community with music, dancing, food and laughter – just a normal day for Westermo!”.
