Christmas Toffee Pop! – our annual Yuletide market – returns this December to bring you an evening of shopping, eating and festive fun.
Bigger and better than ever before, we’ve cherry-picked a colourful and eclectic mix of some of our favourite local designers, makers, vintage stalls and food emporiums in the North East and are rounding them up all under our roof just for the night! Think of this as a selection box of treats minus the duds.
This is a fantastic chance to blitz that Christmas gift list – while supporting local independent businesses.
Newbies in town Big Apple Hot Dogs Newcastle (“…their Dogs are the best in Britain – no question” so says The Times food critic Giles Coren) will be providing nourishment and sustenance for the evening alongside The Doughnut Guy, who will also be serving up hot wintery treats. We’re even running a bar so you can indulge in a Christmassy tipple or two as you browse and buy.
Thursday 10th December, 4-8pm, FREE ENTRY
Stalls include: The Yesterday Society – Vintage Boutique, RPM Records, North Chocolates, Perch & Place, Moon Booth, Northumberland Cheese Company, Muddy Fingers Pottery, Dabble Dabble, The *TeaShed, Dizzy Miss James, Carruthers and Kent, Northumbria Preserves, Bill Quay Fabric, Newcastle Brewing Ltd. and Gentlemen Prefer Blades.
The event coincides with our launch of ‘The Illuminarium‘, a multisensory outdoor installation of moving image, luminous sculptures and immersive sounds, exploring the life cycle of moths.
