Toffee Pop!

June 10, 2013

Toffee Factory is set to launch Toffee Pop! this month and you’re all invited.  As Ouseburn venues, workshops and studios entice you down to the Valley to join in Creative Ouseburn weekend in June; the Toffees have invited local design duo Perch & Place to join forces with them to launch this pop up shop. Perch & Place will not only be selling their unique seating, quirky home ware and gorgeous cards they’ll also be playing host to a number of their favourite creatives and businesses.

Lisa Tolan, Creative Space Management said

‘We’re keen to support local designer makers at Toffee Factory so this partnership with Perch & Place is ideal – their work compliments us and our clients so well. We expect there to be a great buzz around Ouseburn with so many venues opening their doors – there’ll certainly be something for everyone. ’

Toffee Pop! will be open 11am – 3pm on Sunday 23rd June and, if this design & lifestyle collective isn’t enough to lure you down, it will be hard to resist the street food on offer. Tantalising your taste buds will be a selection of the finest local foodies including Electric East and Settle Down Café.

Amanda Stewart, Perch & Place said

“We’re really excited about this event, its important to us that our pop up shops are housed in venues that we love, we like to show case our products in a relaxed and inviting space and Toffee Factory fits the bill perfectly. To make the most of this impressive space and to give our customers added value we’ve handpicked other local creatives and businesses to pop up alongside us. We look forward to working with them and being part of the first Toffee Pop ”.

So, while you’re enjoying the Creative Ouseburn weekend, call in for that tasty treat and see if Perch & Place and their pals can tempt you!

what our clients say:

"The team at the Toffee Factory do a great job in fuelling a creative work place. They put a lot of effort into what many landlords might consider to be the softer side of working life such as organising exciting food, cultural and leisure events. These things make a big positive difference to creative teams like ours and the other businesses in the building."
