Our annual Christmas Toffee Pop! returns this December to bring you an evening of shopping, eating and merriment.
Offering you an alternative to the high street, we have rounded up some of the region’s finest designers and makers, giving you a unique opportunity to stock up on quality, affordable one-off pieces as well meeting the creative minds behind them. Whether it’s something for the home, limited edition prints, textiles, glassware or accessories that you’re after – make this your one stop destination for stocking up on presents.
Gourmands won’t be disappointed either, with seasonal cakes, bakes and hot drinks by Settledown Bakery and Mabel & Mary’s Pantry, handmade North Chocolates, boozy deserts from Tipsy Puds and Carruthers & Kent will be armed with selection of fine wines to wash it all down with.
This is a fantastic chance to blitz that Christmas gift list – while supporting local independent businesses – all under one roof! Smokin’ BBQ will be selling slow roasted pork and brisket buns and there will even be freshly roasted chestnuts and mulled wine to warm the cockles (and perhaps even a festive surprise or two)!
Some members of Newcastle Choral Society will be joining us at 6pm for some good old-fashioned caroling to really get you in the Christmas mood.

'We love working with the Toffee Factory and their excellent team. The space is brilliantly designed by Xsite Architecture to nurture creativity and features furniture and prints by a number of Northern designers we work with on the Northern Design Festival. We have done pop up design events at the Toffee Factory during Open Studios and are using the space for our partner events with the Crafts Council.'
