Illuminating Ouseburn Valley

November 26, 2015

We are super excited to be hosting The Illuminarium for 3 nights in December. This immersive outdoor installation is an ambitious digital moving image, sound and light display by local artists Chloe Rodham and Tim Lozinski. Already being described as “Alice in Wonderland-esque”, it will be an immersive exhibition of luminous sculptures exploring the life cycle of moths.

The exhibition premiered at Queens Hall Art Centre in Hexham and has already recieved favourable reviews but this will be its first outing in Newcastle. During the production of the piece, Rodham and Lozinski have also been documenting some of the processes in a visual diary. Follow the journey from concept to exhibition in the Sketchbook section of their website.

Thursday 10th – Saturday 12th December, 4-8pm each night. FREE ENTRY.
